LVE1 will be my debut solo EP and it’s been quite the journey to get to this point. Every part of my journey in music has been built upon intention, authenticity and timing. I’ve spent the past few years honing my craft and diving deep into every aspect of music creation - so exec producing this project and being the sole vocal engineer was a natural evolution on the path of me getting closer to my art and my creations. I wanted to create something timeless yet modern; something with old school soul but yet still felt fresh and current. Sonically, we took a lot of influences from looping old disco or soul records and writing over the top, then completely recreating the body of the track. Conceptually, I wanted the story of each song to represent a different stage of a romantic relationship. Each song was written from real life experiences I've gone through over the past 2 years and completing this project has really offered peaceful closure on everything that has occurred. I am a huge fan of acts such as Jungle, Cleo Sol, Qendresa, JMSN, and feel like you can hear their influence in this record.
